My goal is to promote art quilts or fiber art as fine art.

I have been quilting for  20 years, but the last 7 I have been creating art quilts. I enjoy Contemporary or Abstract using the fabrics to portray what I am trying to say. 
My work has a strong use of color. The designs vary in style depending upon what I have to say. I use color both impressionistically and expressionistically. I have influences from Nancy Crow, Ned Wert and Ericka Carter, and many other great artists that I have studied with.
I am influenced by geographic images as well as the everyday culture of a region and the people.

I am willing to make commissioned pieces also.
